We are aware of our responsibility towards the environment in which we operate and understand the expectations and needs of local communities. We therefore actively contribute to the cultural, sporting and humanitarian life of the communities where we carry out our projects.

Throughout almost four decades of operation, MAKRO 5 GRADNJE has sought to go beyond the boundaries of its core business. As a donor, sponsor and initiator, we support numerous cultural events and projects, including the Primorski Poletni Festival, Forum Tomizza, the Open House Slovenia Festival and the Piran Days of Architecture.

We have also maintained long-standing partnerships with sports organisations such as the Koper Handball Club and Koper Tennis Club, while supporting humanitarian organisations, including Palčica Pomagalčica and the Slovenian Friends of Youth Association.

Every year, we are also pleased to support the Association of Civil Engineering Students at the University of Ljubljana, as we believe that in this way we can contribute to the quality development of future professionals.

Through our socially responsible activities, we strive to listen to the needs of the communities around us and support as many high-quality initiatives as possible. Our aim is to contribute to creating better opportunities and fostering the sustainable development of communities through responsible action, cooperation and support for worthwhile initiatives.
