The project involves the reconstruction of the building and new construction, including the arrangement of parking spaces on the south side with direct connection to the existing building (central part of the northern section). The project is executed according to the requirements and guidelines of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia (ZVKDS). The central part of the building is preserved, with only the northern facade wall of the side sections of the northern wing remaining. The northern part of the building consists of a basement, ground floor, and three upper floors (K+P+3N), while the new construction is consisted of a basement, ground floor, and two upper floors (K+P+2N) built in the inner courtyard. The total net floor area is 6,275 m². Construction specifics include geotechnical protection of excavations using jet grouting technology, temporary support of the northern facade wall of the western and eastern wings during demolition and reinforced concrete work, structural rehabilitation of preserved parts of the building with reinforced concrete plaster and cores, new construction in reinforced concrete, aluminum glass facade, green roofs, parking arrangement, and external landscaping in the inner courtyard.
