The footbridge, which rests on the protected Plečnik promenade, replaced the existing and worn-out bridge with a very slender steel structure with a glass fence. The steel structure, over one span, is only 50 cm thick and is freely supported on one side and clamped on the other. The span of the bridge is 25 m.
