The project included the development of solutions for the functional, technical, and energy-efficient renovation of the building with the aim of establishing a modern nursing hospital.
The new program organization followed the existing structural and spatial design of the building and included the necessary spatial alterations, renovation of building services installations, and energy refurbishment of the facility. The basement accommodates changing rooms, technical and service areas, while the upper floors contain common areas, outpatient clinics, therapy spaces, and patient rooms with supporting facilities.
Special attention was given to preserving the architectural identity of the building and its protected elements. To meet functional and safety requirements, an extension with an elevator was also constructed.
The project also included the landscaping and arrangement of outdoor areas, with emphasis on preserving and maintaining the green surroundings.
