Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici Kindergarten

The building has two stories (B+GF), with a symmetrical gable roof at a 17° pitch, matching the existing kindergarten. The floors are physically and visually connected through a central space where the stairs are located. This central distribution space is also intended as an additional area for working with children. Each classroom has its own covered outdoor terrace. There will be enough space around the building to set up a playground on the lawn. The outdoor layout also includes: an access ramp for deliveries, paved walkways, and additional parking areas. Each floor will have its own main entrance. The buildings will be connected via a covered passage located on the northern part of the plot. The project’s goal is the final construction of the new Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici kindergarten, which will be built with environmentally friendly materials, higher quality materials, utilizing renewable energy sources, and will spatially and functionally comply with current regulations. It will also ensure suitable spaces for child care in the medium term.
