Construction of a modern, multi storey, energy-efficient and user-friendly primary school with 18 classrooms and a capacity for over 500 pupils. The new school design was technologically challenging. The building is divided into nine lamellas, terraced into the terrain and following the atrium building design concept, which allows most classrooms and offices to have access to the exterior. The central amphitheatre space with a dining room is located in the central part of the building, while the library at the entrance to the school will be shared by the locals. New play grounds next to the building have been arranged, and on the building’s roofs green roofs have been planted. All heated rooms are equipped with underfloor heating and heat recovery ventilation.
