The Competence Center will serve as a modern hub for research and development in olive cultivation and Mediterranean cultures. The facility will consist of a single-story building with a fully equipped basement and well designed outdoor areas.

The basement level will include technical service areas and parking facilities. The upper floor will house four specialized laboratories, and on the ground floor there will be a technological and sensory laboratory. A designated area will focus on sensory analysis and sample prepara-tion.

To support education and outreach, the center will also feature visitor spaces, carefully separated from the laboratory zones to ensure both safety and functionality. The building constructed as a reinforced concrete structure, the building will offer 1,500 m² of net usable space, combining state-of-the-art infrastructure with sustainable design.
