The project involves the construction of a modern sports center, which will include the main athletics and football stadium with 4,500 seats, an athletics hall with 1,600 seats, a warm-up hall and a throwing hall, as well as supporting facilities for athletes and visitors.
The center will also feature a secondary athletics and football stadium with 300 seats, outdoor training areas for throwing disciplines, public outdoor recreation areas, and parking spaces. The project further includes the development of primary infrastructure within the sports center area, the reconstruction of Magistrova Street and Goriška Road, and the construction of an underpass beneath the railway line, which will improve traffic connectivity and accessibility to the center.
The aim of the project is to create a modern, functional, and accessible sports complex that will serve both professional athletes and the wider community, while also contributing to the development of local infrastructure and sports culture.
