Reconstruction of the city market, where, after the renovation, in addition to its daily function as the city’s central square, the market platform is also used for setting up stands, organising various events, erecting a prefabricated temporary roof structure and for hosting other events. The central part of the market platform is paved with terrazzo, while the covered part of the market is made of visible concrete, whose colour and texture follows the colour and texture of the terrazzo pavement. The roof of the building is an inverted flat roof, paved with Pohorje tonalite blocks and partly with terrazzo paving poured in place.
